Spoke-N-Sport New Year's Day Ride
Kick off 2024 with Spoke-N-Sports annual New Year's Day bike ride. Then join us with a warm bowl of chilli and cup of coffee.
Ride Details
When: January 1st, 2024. We will open the doors at 12:00. The ride will start 1:00 pm
Where: 3401 S Cliff Ave. Sioux Falls, SD 57105
What: First best darn ride of the year! We will leave from the Cliff avenue location and head north on the bike trail to The Falls and back.
Distance: 2 - 11 miles depending on weather. Tentative route will be posted.
Post Ride: We will return to Spoke-N-Sport after the ride for some delicious snacks and toasty hot chocolate or coffee.
What to Bring: The best bikes to use are mountain bikes and fat bikes but the ride can be done on any bike. Bring a helmet and plenty of warm clothes. Bring your friends and family!
Cost: This is a free event!
Severe Weather: We will be keeping our eyes on the weather. We will post updates on the event page on Facebook. If no update is posted then the ride is still happening. We have never canceled the ride due to snow or cold although have shortened the ride for those reasons. We have canceled the ride once because of ice and rain.
